Collaborating with our partners, we undertake these projects to support Commercial Card and Payment professionals working in the trenches, and the providers who serve them. In this session we will examine three areas of corporate payments that may have been left untouched in your business for some time. They are:
   -the evolution in B2B payments that are bringing new opportunities
   -how "demand channels" could be rationalised
   -identifying pockets of unrealised value in your business

Refocusing and Reigniting the P-Card Programme at Coach
Speaker: Victoria K. Moore, Senior Analyst - P-Card Program Coordinator, Coach, Inc.

Is your P-Card programme "stuck"?  Is there an opportunity to step back and rethink ways to build a stronger foundation and build momentum in programme growth? Is your existing programme at risk due to soft controls and compliance? At Coach, an investment in an over Procurement transformation included an opportunity to take a fresh look at the card programme. The new team reevaluated all facets of their programme and made the effort to make some fundamental changes. They found that the key to build a base for the programme and then find ways that allow the programme to grow. In this session, the Coach team will discuss how they:
   -launched Coach's (very small) P-Card programme
   -developed new policies with tighter controls but greater opportunity
   -evaluated and made the choice to switch to a new provider
   -expanded the programme to accomodate the different departments within Coach

13:15  - 14:00 Exposing Risk and Leveraging Benefits within Your Card Programme
Speaker: Erich Heneke, Director of Business Integrity/Continuity, Mayo Clinic Supply Chain

Mayo Clinic has embraced the benefits of procurement and Travel Cards by implementing a robust card compliance audit tool to reduce cardholder risk. We will review the benefits of risks of an expanding card programme while maintaining a watchful eye on cardholder behavior. The presentation will include discussion of compliance audit methodology, data mining, VAT challenges and the lessons learned by Mayo. Erich will:
   -explore the benefits of shifting more spend to a card platform
   -examine risks of expanding the employee trust
   -discuss methods to reduce the inherent risk of a large card platform
   -share the lessons learned by the Mayo that could help your card programme implementation
